Happy Halloween Matey

I had a blast creating this layout! I haven't done many two-pagers lately, but I didn't want to squeeze these pictures onto just one. I made this page to submit to Scrapbook Generations for Issue 10 of their online magazine, Create

I've had this laser cut spiderweb from Quick Quotes for over a year. When I started putting this page together I knew I had to use it. I cut the bottom off of it to add part of it to the other page.

I added stitching, doodles, ink and sequins to this layout. Lots of fun!

This Halloween paper had been in my stash for years. I was thrilled to finally use it!

I love this picture of my son in his costume! It's one of my favorites.

I adore a Thickers! I'm a bit of an alpha freak. I was able to use two different types on this page.

Thanks for looking over my layout. Please let me know your thoughts. Happy Halloween!

Knights in Cloth Armor

It's fall again, which means it's time for Halloween pictures. I love that my son still wants to dress up. He was a knight a few years in a row, but he loved it so much that it made me smile. My wonderful husband had an awesome knight costume too, so my boys got to be knights together.

I used Echo Park's Arsenic and Lace line to do this layout. I love the papers! I used Sketch 415 from Scrapbook Challenges, but I turned it in its side. I love having the ability to play with sketches.

I used the embellishments that came with the kit to add depth to the page. I also used three different types of Thickers. I'm an alpha nut!

You just hav to love the that grin!

I added sequins to the page to add bling, but not let it be too 'girly'.

Thank you for taking a look at my page. Please let me know your thoughts if you can. Happy Halloween!

#Love

My daughter loved my camera. She took more selfies than anyone I've ever known. I secretly loved coming home and finding more pictures on my camera. This picture she edited and made some black and white. I decided to use both for this layout. I love that the papers compliment the photos so well.

I used a sketch from Scrap365 to create this layout. I love simple sketches that allow you to add more as you go.

I like printing my journaling and cutting it in strips. It adds fun character to the layout. When I saw this photo paper I knew I had to use it!

The paper is from Amy Tangerine's Plus One line. It looks like I put a lot of work in painting it, but it came that way. It also already had "love" written on then paper. It added a # symbol and added Stickles to the love to make it stand out.

I decided to add this little frame for more pop. The little heart and flair are just happy pieces. I also doodled on the page for extra oomph.

Thanks for looking over my layout, I hope you enjoyed it. Please let me know your thoughts.

Simply Adorable

Scrapping pictures of my daughter and granddaughter makes me happy! They are adorable...as the title of this layout says.

I used a sketch from My Creative Sketches for this layout. I was drawn to the circles at the top of the layout. To create mine I used my old Creative Memories circle cutters. I love those things! I back filled the circles with white Cardstock to make them stand out. I used products from my Noel Mignon Kit, Tea for Two. The soft colors were perfect for the picture.

This little corner of embellishments makes me happy. Love the little bit of glitter tape showing under it all. I doodle on all my layouts. Here you can see some of my various doodles.

These silver Thickers have been in my stash for awhile (I'm an alpha hoarder!). I love then hones hey add to the page.

Thank you for checking out my layout. Please leave me a comment letting me know your thoughts. Happy creating!

Playing Volleyball

I've had this picture of my daughter in Jr. High waiting to be scrapped for a very long time. She's 20 now! Oh well, better late than never. I didn't like the colors in the picture, so I decided to use papers that I liked and didn't worry about them matching the photo so much.

This is a very simple layout, but it shows off the picture well.

I repeated circles on this layout to go with the volleyball theme.

I love clusters of embellishments!

I hope you enjoyed my simple layout. Please let me know your thoughts.

Pumpkin Carving

I love scrapping pictures of my granddaughter. She's just so adorable! These pictures were from her first pumpkin carving experience. Her mommy really did all the work, but Meila enjoyed the squishy pumpkin on her toes. Silly girl!

I used my Noel Mignin Kit, Tea for Two, for this layout. I'm not usually a fan of gold, but I love how it works in this layout.

All the hearts were perfect for this layout lay

I adore that little baby face.

I wanted the carved pumpkin to stand out, so I pop dotted it, and tied pink twin around the bottom. I love the heart in the hands that my daughter carved.

Thank you for looking at my layout. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Autumn Days

Today I am revealing my layout for ScrapStuffz "Inspired By" Challenges . Stacia inspired us with two photos. One was blue and white with snow, and one was more of an autumn picture. I love fall, so I knew I had to work with that one. Here is my layout:

Here is the inspiration photo.

I loved the oranges and tailored look in the photo.  Used sketch number 416 from Scrapbook Challenges for my layout.

I used my new Early Autumn kit from Noel Mignon. I love the oranges and fall theme.

I had these great wood veneer leaves in my stash. I used green, brown, orange and gold ink to color them. I love the was they turned out.

All the textures and layers together make this layout fun. I adore this picture too!

Thank you for looking at my layout. Please leave me some feedback if you can. Happy creating!

Growing Up

Good morning everyone. It's been awhile since I posted, but I've finally gotten a chance to spend some time scrapping. It's been so nice!

This past weekend we went to the pumpkin patch. I realized that we'd been going for several years. After looking through my photos I found these pictures of my son from various visits. I loved being able to see his growth!

I used my new Noel Mignon Kit, Early Autumn, for this layout. I used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy (October, Week 2) for this layout. It was lots of fun to play with!

I love that this almost looks like four different boys!

This tickets are lots of fun. I attached them with chunky staples. I love all the bold patterns in this layout.

Thank you for taking a look at my layout. I hope I've inspired you in some way. Thanks!

Goodnight Sweetheart

I love this picture of my son and me! I was thrilled that my husband snuck it when he did. These sweet times with my son make my heart sing.

To create this layout I used my new Noel Mignon Kit. I also used a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches . I really liked the design of the sketch.

I added this little banner which is from Heidi a Swapp. I sprayed it with her Color Shine to get the exact color I wanted. I adore the cluster of embellishments here.

I love, love this set of yellow a Thickers! I used all the 'e's in the set, so I substituted the number 3 instead. It worked perfect!

To break up the dark background a bit I dabbed a little yellow Color Shine on the black cardstock, and doodled with a white pen. Lots of happy going on!

Thank you for taking a look at my last out. Please let me know your thoughts.

Now, for the layout I designed:

I had just gotten my new Noel Mignon Kit which was full of fall colors, so I couldn't resist doing a fall layout. I love the oranges and golds!

I decided to put my journaling and title over a photo and use it as a backdrop. I like the effect. I love this mustard yellow ribbon. It was perfect for this fall layout. I added some wood veneer leaves that I had sprayed with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine.

I love that picture of my daughter and me!

I fussy cut this tree out of a paper in the kit and pop dotted it to give it some deminsion. I love the little cluster of embellishments.

Thanks for checking out my layout. I'd appreciate your feedback. Don't forget to use the code and buy your ebook soon!

Peek-a-boo

I'm on a Scrapbooking roll! These pictures are from our trip to the Shaffner Farms pumpkin patch in 2009. Our son was just 4 years old. Such a cutie!

The background is much brighter than I usually use, but I found it fitting the pictures. I found the sketch at Scrapbook Challenges and loved the simplicity of it. I feel in the mood for simple today.

This little cluster of embellishments was cute and simple. Just enough to add a bit of detail.

I love these Thickers! The stitching around the edges offset the pen stitching around the papers nicely.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my layout. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Love This

I'm finally getting a chance to scrapbook again. Yay! I'm loving breaking into my autumn pictures. It's my favorite time of year. The colors of the season make me happy!
These pictures are of my daughter and I from our trip to the pumpkin patch in 2009. I love that we have some pictures together. It's rare!

I used my new kit, Early Autumn, from Noel Mignon to make this layout. I adore the colors!!

This paper from Chickaniddy is Scrumptous...which is the name of their paper line. I love it! Autumn Haze is the perfect name for this paper.

Anytime I can use banners I'm thrilled. I love the look of them. They add something special.

I kept the embellishments very simple this times just a few sequins and the alphas.

These Thickers are amazing!  Big and chinky script was just what in anted for this layout.

I used a sketch from Scrap and Play Challenges . The sketch was awesome to work with.

Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts on my layout. While you're at it, please join my blog. Thanks!
