Our Silly Girl

Good afternoon everyone! I think my latest layouts has to be one of my very favorites that I've done in a long time. Once again it features pictures of my adorable granddaughter, Meila.

I used my latest Noel Mignon kit for this layout. I love the yellow and pink together, and they go perfect with Meila's little jacket. I used Sketch 432 from Scrapbook Challenges for this layout. I was able to use my new Canon Selphy to print the pictures in the sizes I wanted (after a bit of trial and error). I love the way everything just came together.

I used two pins that I had in my stash to make these adorable flags. The flair was also something I had in my stash. I love all the buttons and enamel dots together.

The title couldn't be more perfect! These were in a set of Thickers with all sorts of colors. I got lucky enough to have all the right letters in the pink and yellow colors. Well, I actually didn't have enough of the letter "L", but I sacrificed a letter "E" to make one. You can't tell the difference when you look at it.

I added this little rubon in the lower right corner. It's barely visible, but just enough to make a small statement.

My journaling strips are pieces of washi tape. I used a bright pink pen to write on the strips and then let them air dry so they wouldn't wipe off. I love how it turned out! I'll definitely be using that method again. I knew that if I messed up on my writing I'd be able to just take the tape off and try again. Ahhh..the freedom!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout as much as I enjoyed making it. Please leave me some blog lovin' and let me know what you think. Thank you!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Good afternoon everyone! Today I'm bringing you a layout I did this weekend featuring another of my favorite subjects; my granddaughter, Meila. She's just too cute! I've had this picture in my photo box for awhile and was just waiting for the right papers to use with it.

I used my new Noel Mignon kit for this layout. I love all the girly colors! The sketch I used came from ScrapMuch? . It's another Laura Whitaker sketch; one of my favorite sketch designers. I flipped the sketch to be able to use my photo. After my layout was done I wished I had put the photo in the lower right-hand corner so Meila wasn't looking off the page, but oh well, hind-sight... I still love it!

I chose to print my journaling on purple paper this time. I really wanted to get more purple in the layout, and this was a great way for me to do it.

These tickets are so much fun! I was thrilled to be able to use them.

This title is a chipboard title that I bought at recent scrapbooking convention. It is made of chipboard. I inked it up with Quick Quotes chalk ink in Very Berry. I then used a Versa Mark stamp all over it and covered it in Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. I LOVE that stuff! After using my heat gun to melt it, I put Versa Mark on it again and more Embossing Enamel. to make it extra thick. I love how it turned out. I could play with this stuff all day long!

How cute is that baby? Adorable, right?
I had this tag in my stash for awhile. It's one I played with a long time ago. I embossed and inked it, and just threw it back in my stash. When I pulled out this picture and saw the sketch I remembered it. Let's here it for being organized and being able to find it again!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout as much as I enjoyed making it. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Mommy's Little Helper

Good morning everyone! Today I have a layout featuring my favorite little man; my son William. He's nine now, and I just love looking at his pictures from when he was tiny. The time goes by so fast! When he was little (and even now actually) he loved to help me around the house. The broom was one of his favorite "toys". Gotta love our little helpers.

I used a sketch from Stick it Down for this challenge. It is the March single sketch challenge. I had a blast playing with it. I used bits and pieces from a summer kit from Noel Mignon. I love how long her kits last!

I used glitter Thickers for the tittle. I love how many colors they come in! I think I have most every color too. I used regular sewing thread to the button embellishment and to outline the title.

This "So Very Thankful..." card was actually the bottom of a tag. I didn't want the entire tag, so I just cut it off to use the saying.

I love using banners to add to a layout. They offer a lot of simplistic flair. I used one banner for my journaling, which I did by hand this time. I used more of that regular sewing thread to make a sloppy loop and add some color. I always use my photos for color inspiration. Can you find the white, green, teal and blue in the pictures?

I hope you enjoyed looking over my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts.

Bath Time

Good afternoon everyone! I love happy bath time pictures. These pictures of my son make me smile every time I see them.

I used very few things to make this layout. A piece of cardstock, two small scrap pieces of patterned paper, some Thickers, some Color Mist, and a few small embellishments. I let the pictures do the talking here and kept it simple.

How can you not love that face? I used white pen to outline the wave pattern on the paper. I liked the idea of waves and splashes for the bath pictures.I did't have a second "T" in the Thicker I wanted, so I used a letter "L', turned it upside down, and cut another letter to make the "T".

Four pictures clustered in the middle make this a clean, simple layout. I love the little embellishment cluster, not to mention that adorable laughing face.

Thank you for looking over my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Today With You, I am Content

Good afternoon everyone. I'm finally posting a layout that I made a few weeks back. Life has been hectic, but this layout reminds me to calm down and enjoy life a bit more.

I used items from my stash to create this layout, as well as a few papers and such from random Noel Mignon kits. I love how the colors worked out.

I love these phrase Thickers! I wasn't sure what I wanted the title to be on this layout, then I found these phrases in my alpha stash and knew it right away.

I love using multiple alphas on my layouts. This embellishment cluster just kind of happened as I worked.

I love clustering embellishments. The "In the Moment" flair seemed perfect with this picture of my son and I sleeping.

Thank you for taking a look at my layout. I enjoyed making it and I hope you enjoyed looking at it.

Going....Going...Gone!

Good evening everyone! I'm loving this new page. It's got pictures of my granddaughter, so it makes me happy. In these pictures I was giving Meila her first cookies. She loved them!

I used my February Noel Mignon Kit for this layout. I don't do a lot of Valentine's layouts, but the papers and embellishments work for so many other things. Red and teal are beautiful together!

I love Thickers! Add a little glitter and I'm downright giddy!

I used three cards on the bottom of this layout to mimic the three photos at the top. I used ink and pen  to accent them.

I used two different kinds of Thickers for the title. I typed the journaling and cut it into strips. It's my favorite way to add journaling.

This littles ebellishmen cluster is hiding the words "kissing booth" on the card. This fit the layout much better.

I used a sketch from My Creative Sketches . I loved this sketch and stayed pretty true to it.

Thank you for checking out my layout. Pleased leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts.

Sour Pickles

Good evening everyone. It's been a very crazy beginning to this year. I've only been able to scrap in small spurts here and there. I hope it's not the new trend for me! Anyway, I'm finally posting a layout I finished a week or so ago. I started to create it for a challenge, but i didn't get it done in time. I love it though!

I love these pictures! When I saw the green ribbon in my Noel Mignon Kit I just knew I had to use it.

This green glittery frame was perfect for this layout. I was thrilled to find so much green in this kit and in my stash.

I adore this picture! This little card I attached it to had a weird design on it. I just covered it up with an embellishment cluster and it turned out perfect!

These green no glitter Thickers were perfect!

Thanks you for taking the time to check out my layout!
