Seriously Hilarious

I love scrapping older pictures! It brings back so many little memories. These pictures were of my son after a day at The Children's Museum. He was so serious until he finally started laughing. I love this kid!

I created this layout with a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches. I can't resist Laura Whitaker's sketches. I used this layout for the Grateful challenge from the Noel Mignon Fall Crop. My son is just one of the many things I have to be grateful for. I'm very blessed!

I used papers and embellishments from my Noel Mignon kits. I love how everything works so well together. I also pulled a few things from my stash. I have plenty of things to spare, that's for sure! I've had these little cork stickers hanging around for a long time.

I typed my journaling and cut it into strips. It's a great way to make the journaling part of the page instead of it looking out of place. I found this little card about being "Grateful for your Heart". It worked perfect for this challenge and layout!

It took me awhile to find a title for this page, but when I looked at the pictures and saw his serious and then smiling face, and remembered the day, I knew this title was perfect. I didn't have enough of the letter 's', so I made the final 's' out of various other letters and numbers. It worked!

Thank you for taking a look at my page. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

Hay! Brother

I love this series of pictures! My son and my son-in-law (future in these pictures). William loves Dominick, and Dom loves William. Brotherly love, even through marriage.

I created this layout for the Noel Mignon Fall Crop. I took on the Falling Leaves challenge, which was simply to use leaves on a layout. Since these photos were of the pumpkin patch, leaves for the layout perfectly. I used Sketch #361 from Scrapbook Challenges for this page. I haven't created two-page layouts in awhile, so I decided to use just half of the sketch. I like the way it turned out.

I used papers and embellishments from my Noel Mignon kit for this layout. The colors make me happy. These little wooden leaves are adorable too.

This picture of the boys says it all. Love!

I like using different alphas to make titles. I used two different types of Thickers for this one. I also love typing my journaling in strips. It makes the journaling an accent on the page.

I hope you enjoy my layout. Please let me know your thoughts.

Grandma's Pumpkin

I love scrapping pictures of my little Miss Meila. She was only a few months old in these pictures, and it's fun to look back at them now that she is two. It's amazing how quickly time goes by!

I created this layout for the Noel Mignon Fall Crop. The challenge was Fall Fashion, and the idea was to use lots of layers. I love using lots of patterned pappers and layers, so this challenge was easy for me. I used sketch #115 from My Scraps & More for this layout. I switched a few things around, and I love how it turns out.

I never thought I'd like being called Grandma, but it is pretty awesome! I love this little one so much. I used papers and embellishments from my Noel Mignon Kit for this pages. Everything works so well together. I'm not normally a bow girl, but this one worked so nicely on the page that I couldn't resist.

I used two types of Thickers for this layout. I love the orange glitter ones! So much fun. Before putting the papers down I put some Heidi Swapp Color Shine on the paper. It showed through the acetate paper with the triangles and added another layer.

I love using banners on my layouts. I stitched the  'cord' on this banner with my sewing machine. I also inked the edges of all my papers with Quick Quotes Chaulk Ink.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my layout.

Pumpkin Patch

I had a fun day of scrapbooking yesterday. I recently took a ton of pictures at the pumpkin patch, but I haven't had those prints yet. So, I decided to do some layouts of our trip two years ago. Scrapping older photos is fun!

I created this layout with two challenges in mind. I participated in the Noel Mignon Fall Crop and used this layout for the Pumpkin Patch challenge. The challenge was to use a color palette that reminded us of the pumpkin patch. These colors are some of my favorite! I used sketch #116 from My Scraps & More to create this layout. I turned the sketch on its side, but left the rest of the layout as it was. It was fun to work with!

I used papers and embellishments from my Noel Mignon kits. I love how everything works together!

It's rare that I get a picture of all of us. This was Meila's first trip to Shaffner Farm, and we all wanted to document it. I used wood tone Thickers for the title. I carried them into the layers of paper to pull the whole layout together.

I love using these little frames to draw attention to something. The user of the pumpkin patch is, after all, getting pumpkins.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my layout. Please leave me some blog love and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
